As we return to the Supersphere office in LA and catch our breath after another great production with Billie Eilish and her team at Governor’s Ball, we wanted to take a moment to introduce you to the latest addition to the Supersphere squad. We are excited to welcome Grenada, ESP-based XR developer Miguel Hernandez.
With deep experience in video game and interactive experience design and development, Miguel brings a wealth of innovative knowledge and experience to the growing cast at Supersphere. When asked what made the European developer choose Supersphere, Hernandez replied, “I would only work on something I like, and I love this project. The possibilities are endless, and being at the forefront with the Supersphere team makes this a dream job for me.”
Miguel will be working on numerous projects ahead on the Supersphere calendar, but will be focused on continued development for Supersphere’s immersive concert streaming platform ArcRunner.
“Para mí, las aplicaciones interactivas como ArcRunner son una forma de vivir aquello que no puedes vivir fuera. Es un espacio donde los sueños se hacen realidad, y los conciertos y los artistas no están limitados por lor medios tradicionales. Conforme la tecnología avanza y se vuelve más inmersiva, la experiencia para el usuario se convierte en algo cada vez más real. Y esto sólo es el principio.”
For me, interactive applications like ArcRunner are a way to live what can’t be lived outside of them. It’s a space where dreams come true for concert goers, and artists’ performances are no longer confined to traditional concert venues. As the technology becomes more immersive, the experience is becoming more and more real. We’re only in the early stages.”
– Miguel Hernandez
And in true Supersphere fashion, Miguel’s presence can already be seen in additions to our office Spotify playlists. While artists like System of a Down, Foo Fighters, and Slipknot are some of Miguel’s go-to’s on Spotify, he has a vast knowledge of film and video game soundtrack music as well as mellow orchestral jams that makes for fantastic accompaniment when plugged in working.
Keep your eyes peeled here for more exciting show announcements dropping soon and in the meantime mellow out with Miguel’s Original Soundtrack playlist.
