Supersphere and Meta Horizons teamed up with Hot 97 to stream one of hip-hop’s most legendary festivals, live in VR. It all went down on June 12 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and featured superstars such as Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Pusha T, City Girls, Burna Boy, Fivio Foreign, and many more.
Anyone who wasn’t able to score an in-person ticket to the festival was able to catch some historic moments from the comfort of their own homes, including:
- Young Thug delivering a message from jail that included a call to support the “Protect Black Art” petition.
- Fivio Foreign declaring himself the new King of New York.
- A DJ Kay Slay tribute that included a who’s who roster of NYC emcees including The LOX, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, Remy Ma, Juelz Santana, Papoose, and Jim Jones.
Fans will be able to watch Lil Durk’s headline set ongoing in Horizon Venues, which includes guests Meek Mill, French Montana, and Nardo Wick and features his hits “Hellcats & Trackhawks,” “Still Runnin,” “Home Body,” “Who Want Smoke??” and more.
