Supersphere and Meta Horizons teamed with burgeoning basketball league Overtime Elite last week to debut the first of four live, immersive Dunk Shows in Horizon Venues. Giving hoop heads everywhere their first chance to see the future of the NBA today, Meta Quest, Meta Quest 2 and Rift VR users were given a front row seat to the raucous slam dunk event featuring the best young basketball players in the nation.
Presented as a live 180-degree experience, the Dunk Shows follows amateur players on track for the NBA who will be featured in Overtime Elite’s inaugural season this year as they shake the boards, live from the OTE Arena in Atlanta, GA. OTE talent will also be chatting with fans as a part of the immersive broadcast, including exclusive immersive appearances from OTE players.
